Happy Halloween everyone! I wanted to invite anyone who happens to play Animal Crossing to come to my island tonight for a Halloween party! I’ve been working on the island all month long because the Halloween in-game stuff was just too cute, and we just got a 5 star rating even though there’s so much left to do! I’ve made a spooky maze (be sure to activate the monster statue and skeleton), and a harvest festival, which are both to the left of our airport. In the center t...here’s also a shippong district, complete with pumpkin patch (which is now WAY bigger than in the photo haha), and a cafe! And up behind the town hall we have a really cool park (be sure to look up from the fountain), and to le left is our cute neighborhood. I’m going to open the gate for visitors from 6-8 p.m. PT, so when you’re done trick-or-treating on your island I hope you’ll visit mine! Surprise!! Dawn wanted to keep printing this magical design but she’s out of bags, so she’s made a limited edition run of 25 gradient prints! Shop update daaay! We have a TON of new stuff up in the web shop, including a Halloweeny collection of colorways from a massive order we recently got and are still working through from @lavenderluneyarn! Click the link in our profile to check them out! There’s also @knitcollage (which SO many people have been asking for), mohair laceweight in solid colors, @brittany_needles wooden DPN’s, enamel pins from @m.h.a.l.e, some more nifty tools, AND a restock of Cheeto Dust on ...Viv Sock (we also added Alli Sparkle Sock to our selection of affordable ecru yarns too)! And tonight at 6 p.m. I’m listing the last of the Halloween project bags and stickers from my collaboration with @dawnkathrynstudios! We had lots of requests for an evening update, as well as to separate the parts of the kits, which works great because I have no time to dye more yarn in time for Halloween! There’s only 50ish more bags and then they’re gone for good (though that design will definitely be back on the standard cotton bags soonish). I’m posting it today because this week’s shop update is something special, and I hope it will help y’all make some great stuff this winter! We’ve added a new section to the web shop of bulk discount bags of drop shipped yarn! We used to offer this pr...ogram in our shop and are super excited to now offer it online. If you’ve got a project that requires a lot of one color, you can now buy a whole bag (around 500g of yarn per bag), and you get 10% off and $9 flat rate shipping no matter how many bags you order across all the different yarns on offer, because these ship directly from the supplier! And the best part is that the listings have EVERY color available, not just the ones we chose to stock our shelves with (cause UY has amazing, giant color palettes and we could never fit it all in our shop haha)! Dona also has an option for color kits with this discount too - 6 skeins of curated colors are put together like a wreath, and they come with some free patterns that are super lovely. Combining a color kit with a single colored bag would be amazing for anything colorwork - sweaters, blankets, sets of stockings, the list goes on! I hope this program makes it easier and more affordable for everyone to get the yarn they need for larger size sweaters and big cozy projects for the holidays. And it helps us out a lot because we don’t have to put money up to carry extra the stock, which is amazing given how tight everything still is.
