Merry Christmas from the Wallers!! 2020 - the year nobody expected! It has been a crazy ride! (Still is....) We are thinking and praying for all the front lines personnel and the people that have been severely affected by covid. We are incredibly blessed to have so many amazing clients from past, current and coming years! We have all been thru a ton and it has been amazing to see how people can come together! We were that family at the bluffs trying to take our own photos..... you know.. social distancing.. using the phone to trigger the camera. We wish you all a great holiday time with family! We’re signing off till the new year!

Rachel and Paul’s wedding has so many feelings attached to it: First - They we’re out last pre-COVID wedding in March Second - they pushed thru rain on their day like rockstars Third - Rachel first heard about us way back in 2011 in the Midwest when we shot her friend Maria’s wedding - she kept our info until she got married. All together it was an awesome wedding and we got some amazing photos!

Ok - to be honest we do miss the big wedding days... but these intimate small backyard weddings are putting a special place in our hearts. Nicole and Cameron got married in their backyard, under a pergola the grandfather made... and during their first dance I realized they will have photos of their first dance in their own backyard- looking back at this photo 20 years from now will have a different feeling of memories and nostalgia. all this being said.. we are definitely looking forward to their celebration party next year!!

To say last Saturday warmed my heart would be an understatement... Holly and Bryan gathered a small group of those closest to them and had an amazing wedding day with the most amazing views! These two are some genuine souls and some solid down to earth people!!

Love getting fun shots on engagement photos - but I always like getting those close intimate moments too! Macy and Arjun’s engagement photos were the perfect mixture of both! Side note: You know in your head as a photographer when you think of an image - shooting at 1.4 - and think maybe I could get the ring and lips in focus.. in the same shot..... #nailedit

First met Ryan and Katy last year for their engagement photos and we eagerly anticipated their June wedding this year. COVID might have stopped their large wedding but didn’t stop them from having a small family wedding out of town. And now that they just journeyed back down here for some portraits! So great getting to see these two again!!

I have shot more elopements this year than the past 15 years of shooting... and it has been amazing! True we miss the big full day parties... but some of our favorite times during those days is the time we spend with just the couple and those closest to them. Congrats to Arielle and Calvin - these two are some top quality people - genuine, caring and always thinking of others. We moved their big party to next year - but they still got married on their 14 year dating anniversary in her parents backyard. #covidbride I will admit - at first I didn’t want to post a masked wedding couple - but aside from Arielle and Calvin smiling big with their eyes, It feels good to accept where we are in time, as a photographer we capture the stories to tell.. and well who else can say they got married during a pandemic?! Plus.... these small intimate weddings have been so amazing to be a part of! So much team effort to throw them together, you feel the love around the couple. So excited to see you two next year!!

Let us just say these times are crazy for everybody and our hearts and prayers go out for all those affected. It’s no fun being in the event industry right now - but at the same time it’s no fun having planned a wedding for over a year (or dreamed of it for who knows how long) and then have Covid-19 make you change your whole plan. Love this Tree at @riviera_mansion! Aside from the great shade it provides, it makes for the perfect location for ceremonies! Extra bonus when the ceremony setup gets taken down fast enough that we can use for photos at Danielle and Chester’s wedding!
