At Vesuvio we are so proud to be able to reopen for in-house dining, get back in the kitchen, get my staff back to work, and greet our friends and guests again. All our tables will be generously spaced as required, our staff will be in face-masks and continually cleaning and disinfecting also. Our Starlight Rooftop Terrace Lounge offers an open-air space with plenty of room for safety and privacy. Come see us soon, but as I always say, if you do, come hungry. At Vesuvio our take-out menu now features a nightly special, plus some of our most popular desserts. No one expected that we would be all shut in for this long, and I am proud of my small staff that is willing to provide some food service for our local community.

Vesuvio is continuing to offer take-out and delivery from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, featuring our most popular pasta dishes, alonf with our wood-buring oven pizza. Many of the Little Napoli dishes are offered also, with curbside pickup and delivery also available. My son Christian's Doc Pepe's Lab Hand Sanitizer is also available, recently launching with the approval of the ABC rulings and he is using the World Health Organization's sanctioned recipe.

In light of most of Carmel in self-imposed stay-at-home lock down, I will offer home delivery until the virus crisis clears up. We will also offer curbside pickup, just call as you’re arriving, and we’ll run out your food order to you. The Vesuvio menu is listed on CHEFPEPE.COM. To be honest, I don’t have a delivery person scheduled every day, so don’t be surprised if I’m the one knocking on your door!

Italian tenor, Pasquale Esposito, returns to the historic Carmel Mission Basilica for his 9th concert on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 8:30PM. Pasquale will present an intimate, acoustic performance accompanied by acclaimed concert pianist, Natalya Lundtvedt. The evening’s program will include Opera Arias, Neapolitan Songs, Standards and Original Compositions. Enjoy a special pre-concert dinner option VIP ticket by dining at Chef Pepe’s Vesuvio Restaurant in Carmel by the Sea a...t 6:00 pm. As part of the VIP ticket, you will have priority seating at the Carmel Mission Basilica. Enjoy an incredible Italian culinary dinner with a glass of red or white wine.
