A few of the pups that I got to spend time with today. The #pack is aging. I often do a #greymuzzle circuit of #sniffari style walking first, then let the pups that are tired have a snooze while I take the younger active dogs back out on another more focused, structured exercise walk. It’s important for me to honor the needs of all our pack members. // We have Sadie rhe #bostonterrier , Luna-Belle the #beaglemix , Bibi the #villiagedog from #iran, Boomer the #seniorstraydog ...found on the streets of #eastoakland , his sister Luna the faux #beauceron , and their brother Osong the #americanpitbullterrier. Today, we welcomed this sweet, three year old #bullterrier boy into our program for a results-based #boardandtrainprogram . He is being surrendered back to the person who found him as a stray, after being in a home for two years, because of his #reactivity on leash and some other behaviors caused by his tendency to get wound up. Like many dogs, he has no clue how to calm himself down once he gets excited. Once we make some progress, he will probably be looking for a home with no young children or cats. I know that some folks expressed an interest in Coda if we don’t keep her, it has come to my attention that this little pup who looks a lot like our girl is in need of a home to call her own.
