Do you feel stuck in the things you don’t want to be involved in? Do you feel like even though you hate evil, it’s just so hard to say no and do the right thing? It can feel so defeating when you, AGAIN, do something that you know you shouldn’t. !!Hear this!! There is hope! There is freedom! ... There is something you can do that will help you do things that bless you rather than break you! !!This is how!! Don’t copy the behavior of this world! Change that way you think by letting the Lord transform your heart. Then your heart, mind and soul will choose the things that will bless you rather than break you, which is the will that the Lord has for your life! (Romans 12:2-3)

Here is a guaranteed exercise that you can do for your soul that will give great results!! Read or pray this passage from the Bible once a day and you’ll begin to gain a stronger, wiser and more confident soul! This exercise sheds off the anger, gossip, bitterness, insecurity and so much more! ... Start today!! Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalms 139:23-24 NLT

It’s the weekend, and that means: time for church! We miss seeing you guys in person every week, but there is still something to celebrate and to be joyful about: God is good, God is love, God is present and working! Ask Him to help you be sensitive to His Spirit today, to see His plans and purposes and make yourself available to be used for His glory!

Purpose Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose in life?... You are God’s creation. You are here to become more and more conformed to the image of Christ with each passing day. You are given opportunities to share your testimony and the good news of the gospel with people that God places in your life. Know this: God did not take His hands off the wheel of your life, not even for a second. From start to finish, everything followed God’s plan for you. Your response to both the good and blessings as well as the hurt and brokenness can be used to introduce people to Jesus. What a high calling and honor!

I wonder how often we view someone as undeserving of our compassion. Or maybe we’ve experienced rejection because we didn’t meet somebody else’s standards. Let’s follow Jesus’ example and treat others with compassion, love and dignity. -Our Daily Bread
