TEXAN CRIMESThis is a continuation of bourgeois crimes like Katrina and other hurricanes, the California fires, and now the extreme winter in the Center and South of the country with an epicenter in Texas. Uncounted people got killed, billions lost, and the entire energy network collapsed in Texas because of privatization and deregulation. In each instance, the ruling class knew that catastrophe was coming. They were, and they are, their creation since the industrial revolut...ion. They showed they did not care, once again, and that profits are over people's lives. Federal and state help was minimal and late. There is no question of looking for a scapegoat; indeed, they will find some, but these announced disasters and the ruling class's non-reaction is now an MO. We can only start saving lives and survive; maybe, the next catastrophe is getting rid of the bourgeoisie and if we, as workers and oppressed, take our destiny into our own hands. IMPEACHMENT was supposed to be a tool to discipline those politicians or judges who lost their way and subverted or put in danger the bipartisan political regime. But now is transformed into a show to negotiate new agreements trying to rebuild the regime. The Democrats accepted delay after delay and agreed NOT to call witnesses. They agreed on both counts with the Republicans who, while they wanted to walk away from the Trump legacy, were afraid of the backlash as many in the Republican Party rank and file bought all the crap coming out of Trump´s mouth. The Democrats need a surviving Republican Party to maintain their kidnapped constituencies, blackmailed by the existence of conservatives and extreme right-wingers on the other side of the aisle.
