Hello everyone! Tomorrow during our Tuesday morning meeting, we'll be doing a craft as a group! We hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday! How can we pray for you all today? We'd also like to lift a special prayer for you to join our children in. Yesterday during our Summer Children's Program Meeting, our teacher, Sara, led our kids in a time of prayer for environmentalism. While there have been lots of positive effects on the environment from being sheltered-in-place, there are still many communities around the world that are suffering from the devastating effects of climate change. Please lift up these communities, as well as our whole planet, in your prayers this week.

Happy Wednesday everyone! How can we be praying for you? Take a bit of time with your family to pray for others in our community, as well! Yesterday, our Summer Children's Program teacher, Marsha, led our kids in a time of prayer for the homeless community in our area. Our children shared their feelings and hope that all people will be equal, safe, and taken care of. Today, we'd love for you to join our kids in praying for the homeless in our communities who do not have somewhere to "shelter-in-place" and stay safe amidst the pandemic. We hope to hear from you and offer our prayer and support to your families during this time!

Happy Wednesday, friends! How can we be praying for you? Please also say a special prayer today for your friends and loved ones who don't live in the Bay Area. Many communities around the world are having unique struggles that we might not totally understand, but we can still keep in prayer. If you have the time and energy, try reaching out to those friends and loved ones! Spreading love and keeping our connection to our friends and family will pull us through.

Summer Church School is starting TOMORROW MORNING! We'll be having a Zoom meeting every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 10am-11am! Join us for games, worship, stories and more! As our special prayer request this week, we would appreciate your prayers for the health and safety of those involved in the ongoing protests around the world. Those who are on the front lines are not only at risk of violence, but they are also exposed to the COVID-19 virus, as well. Please pray for all of their safety, and send a prayer of gratitude for their energy and vitriol standing up against the injustice our black friends, family, and neighbors have had to endure for so long. Stay safe. Stay strong. Stay vigilant.

Currently an Elder, teacher, shepherd and recent LOGOS Co-director and whatever Children's Ministry needs 6. One wish/hope for the children of SVPC? I hope children know they are BELOVED children of God no matter what.

We'd like you all to take some time today to think of all of the blessings that you have in your own life. In times of crisis, we often forget to appreciate the things that we already have. Come up with a list of things you're thankful for as a family and thank God for them in prayer! If you feel led to, please comment below with some things that you're thankful for!

To know they are unconditionally loved by God

Today, we'd like you to offer an extra prayer for everyone around the world who are struggling with their mental health, as well as our mental health professionals. Pray for peace of mind, courage to reach out, and most importantly rest. If you or someone that you know is struggling, please reach out! We are stronger together and we will make it through!
