This week, I hosted students interested in learning about gun violence prevention. I talked about the importance of civic engagement and Moms Demand Action - CA joined us to lead a letter writing campaign to state representatives.

"I don't feel safe anymore in this neighborhood," Baghi said. "I thought this was a safe neighborhood, but now I realize it's not anymore." What a heartbreaking statement, which reinforces why public safety has been and will continue to be a top priority to me.
