This past weekend our horse Maestro won his 5 year old qualifying class at Blenheim. We are so happy with how, under the training of Amy and Judy, he has progressed. Can’t wait to see him at his coming shows this summer.

Now that we have had several days of training and racing without incident let's continue to promote Santa Anita I AM RACING

We, Paul and I, are happy to subscribe to changes need to be made racing in California. If it needs to have the owners and trainers more accountable for their actions while training and racing at Santa Anita and Golden Gate Fields so be it. If we ever want to continue racing here we need to change our perspective. Some trainers (you know who they are), are doing things with the horses in their barns that are not kosher. It’s something that is not spoken in the public. It’s just whispered about. Maybe putting a spotlight on what is happening at Santa Anita will help the process be made better. We breed and race here for a reason. We truly believe in the breed and race here. We want to continue in the program with the CTBA. We as owners need to be accountable for what has been happening at SA.

Yesterday at the last day of the Del Mar Summer Meet Schroeder Farms, Jan Steeper and Hess had a final win there. Tiger Mom won her race with Evin Roman aboard. He rode a nice race for us. I really like this Jockey. We did lose her in a claim to trainer fro up north. We wish Mr Wong the best. We are looking forward to our 2 year old fillies when they race next for us. We are looking forward to Santa Anita.

Schroeder Farms celebrated the first win for our stallion Merit Man on August 12, 2018 at Del Mar. Our 2 year old filly Give Me a Hunt won her very first race by 9 1/4 lengths. Happy for Merit Man and one our other owners Welton Mansfield. Looking for good things to come the rest of the meet at Del Mar.

Mom....I miss you but will join you in Heaven for an amazing celebration when God calls me home too!
