One of the greats, @themarcford stopped by the shop today. Tested out a @satelliteamps Coronet loaded with the @curtis_novak_pickups New Yorker pickup, into a Satellite Hemi-Cuda, into the 4x12 loaded with @amperian_speakers from a few days back. Marc is taking this rig (actually a black Coronet, but essentially the same) on tour starting Saturday.

The last Satellite of 2019. Neutron in a metal enclosure. Been a year filled with setbacks, delays, and general issues. These last few months I have been pulling through all of this. Looking at this amp sitting here really struck me as being the sunlight through the clouds. 2020 is going to be a good year.

We have had a bunch of people ask, so we are going to do a short run of Neutron and Cuda heads on the Scamp style metal enclosures. They are on sale until December 1. Neutron metal enclosed head is $1250, Cuda is $1550. Link in bio, just choose Metal Enclosure as the color choice. @ Satellite Amplifiers

Dennis Casey’s rig from @floggingmolly on tour with @socialdistortion with a delightful backdrop of what I believe is the Brooklyn Bridge.

Weird seeing a piece I made special for a friend getting auctioned off. Years ago, Walter asked me if I ever made any amps using big bottles. I said that my favorite tubes were vintage Gold Lion KT66s but that no one wanted to pay for them ($400 a pair at the time, if you could find a pair). He said he would, so I designed this amp just for him. It is what eventually became our Cuda model. Its one of many Satellite’s he had that will be auctioned off, but this is the one that means the most to me.

Satellite Scamp amplifier in a Pelican Air 1507 flight case. Hows that for a 22 watt travel amp that fits in the overhead of a plane, and weighs 13.5 lbs total? We will probably start offering these on the website Soon. First time fitting. @ Satellite Amplifiers
