Happy Valentine’s Day
Merry Christmas from all of Santa’s reindeer
Bruno got to meet Santa horse at Courtship Ranch today
15 years ago tonight, Whispering Rhythm n Blues got to wear the roses when he was crowned the World Champion Classic Pleasure Driving horse and today we celebrated by riding in a trail trial (a 5 mile competitive trail ride). He was every inch the WC as he navigated obstacles he’s never encountered before. We congratulate all the competitors at the Morgan Grand National and World Championship Horse Show, especially those fortunate enough to wear the roses this week! #morganhorsesforever

We just got word that three of our riders won year end awards in the Saddleseat and Western School League of Greater Los Angeles. Congratulations to: Makayla Kurfess - JV Saddle Seat and JV Western Champion Isabella Miles - Freshman Saddle Seat Isabella Soto - Novice Saddle Seat... and Honorable Mention to Estelle Steinberg - she showed in one show and won her class, this was the first time ever that she showed a horse! I am so proud of these girls and their Morgan horses. They put in so much hard work and grew throughout the year. I am looking forward to all that they will achieve in their lives in the years to come. I am truly blessed to have such a great crew. #horseshowlife #tmhmagazine #morganhorses #showusyourblueribbon #horsesofsanfernandovalley #trainerlife @ Los Angeles Equestrian Center See more
To All Equestrians Board of Rec and Parks public telemeeting this Thursday, September 3, at 9:30 a.m. Within the first 5 minutes of the call is an opportunity for members of the public to speak for two minutes on any topic under their (RAP) purview. Rec and Parks (RAP) is NOW drawing up their RFP (request for proposal) and will be awarding the City's LAEC concession for the right to operate, manage, and serve the needs of the Los Angeles Equestrian Center located in Griffith ...Park. Public opinion is critical in persuading the City of the public's thoughts, desires, and wishes. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO to have an effect on the future of our Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Griffith Park and who will run it is to SPEAK at a public meeting. Let your thoughts be known. Dial (669) 900 6833 to Join the Meeting. Then Enter This Webinar ID: 921 6384 1998AND PRESS # To comment: when asked press *9 When your turn comes, they will read off the last 4 digits of your phone number. You will have up to 2 minutes to speak. Two minutes passes quickly. It is best to be prepared. You do not need to speak for two minutes. For example, you could simply say: "I want an affordable, comfortable, well kept place to keep my horse", or "I do not like the way the Center has been neglected," or .... fill in your thoughts here. You do not need to identify yourself. If you wish to say you are a boarder, or live in the neighborhood, or take lessons, etc., you may do so, but it is not required. It is really an amazing opportunity made easy and simple. In past, one had to drive to various locations throughout Los Angeles. Now, anyone who wishes can participate via phone!
