Friends, Today begins our Stewardship Campaign! Our Church has long depended upon the generosity of our members, constituents and friends to carry out ministry in the name of Jesus. In this season of struggles with virus, fires, and elsewhere your gift is more important than ever. As you pray about your commitment I want to ask humbly for you to consider what you can do. Connecting. Praying. Protecting. Petaluma UMC gathers for a brief time of prayer, music and reflection on the front lawn of the Church Sunday Mornings at 10:30 am. This event usually lasts no more than twenty minutes, with everyone standing. Masks required. Social distancing (10feet observed and buildings are closed) practiced. Then on the 1st Sunday of the month, we have a full worship service (chairs provided and sanitized) with Holy Communion at 10:30 am. Again, ma...sks required. Social distancing practiced, and buildings are closed. But Christian community in mission, worshipping God.... this remains. Come, worship. Come, give your burdens to a God who can handle them.
