To all my lovely clients don't look for the blue haired mask wearer when you arrive at the salon.

We get to reopen next week!! In saying this once the new guidelines are out (from my understanding this Monday) I will post an update. Until then please remember the following guidelines as I'm sure they will still be in effect. 1. Text me from your car not from the front door so we do not have groups of clients gathered. I will let you know when I am ready and I will meet you at the door. 2. Once you enter inside you must stop at the front desk to sanitize your hands,... sign in, and I will take your temperature. 3. YOU MUST WEAR A MASK THROUGHOUT YOUR ENTIRE TIME WITHIN THE SALON. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are getting a chemical service I recommend a disposable mask and also all masks must be the type that loop around the ears so I can do your hair . 4. If you are even feeling slightly sick even if it's the day of please cancel immediately. I will reschedule you appropriately and this way myself and other clients are not put at risk. 5. Please keep your personal items at a minimum. I have a hook for you to hang your purse or bag, you can bring your own reading material or devices to entertain yourself but I must keep all surfaces as unexposed to potential germs as possible. 6. Please arrive early in case of parking as well as if there are other clients waiting to get in to see their stylist/barber. This will help me keep on time for everyone so there will be no delays nor do I have to rush through sanitization of the studio between every client. For those who have already experienced this you know sometimes there are up to 5 clients waiting to get in as we can only take one client at a time through the door for the sign-in process. Sometimes this can add anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes before I can get you through the door. I will be contacting everybody on the list who has contacted me to be put on the wait list for reopen as well as those who I had to cancel over the last few weeks of the 2nd closure. Please be patient as I go through the list and contact you. Please also try to get back to me as soon as possible so I can move down the list and an efficient manner. If I don't hear back from you within 24 hours I will continue on down the list and this will push any appointments available further away unfortunately. Xoxo Nik

Hi to all my lovely clients! I just want to take the time to help you understand what the governor and the mayor have said and to clear up any confusion. They had said yes we can do outdoor services but state board who is the one that issues our licenses and has the authority to take it away says we are NOT allowed to do any chemical services, or shampooing outside. We are only allowed to do dry cuts basically with shears and combs. That being said I will still be shut down during this time as we are not planning as a salon as a whole to do outdoor services at this time.

Hello to my lovely clients, here we are again. I’m sure most of you have heard the most recent news that indoor operations such as hair salons are being shut down again effective today. Please bear with me while I gather more information. I’ll be reaching out directly to all my clients with appointments booked this week. Every summer I always encourage my clients to try a little something new. Winter is fading away and that means summer is coming and vacation time is being used. And what is more fun then that!... I always step in to Spring/Summer with fresh makeup, a new color or styling technique. At your next appointment let's talk new color or a different way to style to spice up that look.

Hello lovely clients! I wanted to clear up some confusion. For now my online booking is shut off. You must contact me directly to set up an appointment. This is due to the fact that I need to have time in between every client to thoroughly disinfect and sanitize, and to make sure nobody accidentally double books during someone else's appointment. Only 1 client at a time is allowed in the studio and no one is allowed to wait within the salon for their stylist. Here are the pr...Continue reading

Redheads are always in season. Want to know the secret to the perfect red color all year round? It's a 3 part cocktail made up of: ... -1 part toner applied by me, your amazing stylist every 6 weeks. -1 part thermal protected so that we save your hair from breakage and heat damage (toner will last longer). -1 part mask. Sun, salt air and sweat are tough on your hair. We need to show it a little love just once a week.

Hello all my lovely clients! As you may have heard Governor Newsom as well as San Diego County as of midnight tonight has okayed for hair services to reopen. In stating this I will let you know that I am having surgery next week so I will not be opening for 2 more weeks as I will need time to recover and this will also give Freddie time to prepare the salon to be in state accordance with the governors as well as the county's guidelines. I will be contacting you 1 by 1 to se...Continue reading

To my dear family and friends, Hair salons are NOT opening in San Diego tomorrow. The county sent the governor a request earlier this week to move them and some other businesses from phase three to phase two but there has been no word on if or when that can happen. The state did agree to an accelerated move up of some phase two businesses but again hair salons were not in that phase to begin with. Once the state of California, county of San Diego and the state board of cosm...etology and health department determines it is ready to start opening I will contact everyone first who had appointments cancelled due to the stay at home order and then everyone on my waiting list and get everyone in ASAP. If you have not requested an appointment yet and were not previously scheduled please text me to add you to my list. Although this has been an extremely difficult time for all of us in this industry, most including myself have spent the time getting recertifications, attending multiple online classes and trying to gather the extra PPE and sanitation supplies we will be required to have. As of now we have not had much guidance in that area but using common sense and other states guidelines are helping. Please understand I am very hopeful to be Re-Opening my salon in the next few weeks although there will be changes. I will only start rescheduling once I get the go ahead to open. You will be informed of new regulations at that time. Be prepared to have temperature checks and mask on before being allowed to enter. Mask will be provided if needed . Thank you all so much for sticking with me and I can’t wait to see you all! See more
