For our new mural, Energized, artist Regan Russell studied the movement of the sunlight coming through the windows to support his design process. Over the course of several hours as the sun moves from east to west, Energized will create a vibrant color dance around the Museum. We’re so excited for our new vibrant and transparent mural, Energized, by local artist Regan Russell! Energized is located on the Museum’s east-facing windows on Front street and explores how sunlight filters through each color to create a color dance of light around the Museum space. In honor of National Arts and Humanities Month with Americans for the Arts, we’re highlighting our recent launch of Think Play Create Learning Kits! These kits include standards-based lesson plans, links to instructional video tutorials and art supplies for kids and families to do at home.
