Happy Birthday to an amazing woman and wonderful Nonna. You would have been 75 this year, but cancer took you away. I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories we shared together while baking cookies, bread, and cooking your favorite dishes together. You taught me many great things in business. Your memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all your loved ones.

Maisanos Bakery began as an Italian Deli early 90's. Our family's goal was to bake fresh bread and pastries daily to serve the public. Here are some photos that take a look back in time.

A big thanks to Richard Munio at The Sub Station for catering Cathy Thompson’s funeral. Thank you to everyone who sent flowers, condolences, and came to the funeral.

April 16th, 2018 7:58 a.m. our family said goodbye to Ms Catherine Galasso-Thompson. She ended her battle with breast cancer and fought until the very end. Her legacy lives on in her grandson Christopher Hayes who will be taking over her position with Maisanos Bakery and pushing the company into its next chapter. She accomplished many great things in life. She helped found Galasso's Bakery with her brothers and parents, ran two other bakeries after Galasso's, built, operated,... and sold hotels in Northern California, and was a wonderful mother of 3 and Nona to 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In the few moments she wasn't busy working at the bakery she enjoyed traveling to Europe, Southern America, and dining at high end restaurants. She will be dearly missed. Rest In Peace.
