This month’s webinar presented by Kern County Black & Hispanic Chambers, Mid State Development Corp., and the Cal State Bakersfield SBDC will focus on the expanding U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) grant program's new funding allowing small business up to a $ 10,000 grant. The funding is only available to businesses located in low to moderate income communities. Our presenter will be Corey Williams, a Public Information Officer wit...h the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan division. Corey will discuss accessing the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)Targeted Advance grant program process, eligibility, share a map of included areas and discuss resources for assistance in filing the application. This virus is very real. As the holiday season approaches, it’s important to not get comfortable and ignore all the work we have made together in flattening the curve and reopening our economy. Tamsi added that the county is still required to meet state guidelines to remain at this stage of being open or to be moved forward. Among the key weekly benchmarks are increased testing results.
