The Incredible Edible Farm is temporarily closed due to planned construction at the Great Park. We anticipate that it will be reopened in 2019 in another location in the Great Park. We will post news as soon as we have it. In the meantime, you and your children can volunteer at our facility. Adults can volunteer in our distribution center and children can volunteer in Izzy's Corner. Please go to our website for more details.
We had a great time showing off Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and our The Incredible Edible Farm last Friday. The Association of California Cities, Orange County came along with representatives from the of City of Irvine City Hall, Garden Grove City Hall, City of Lake Forest and Rep Mimi Walters' office. Our good friends A.G. Kawamura and Jordan Perkins from Solutions for Urban Agriculture were there to talk about the partnership that launched the original Incredible Edible Park and the importance of preserving our agricultural heritage and creating innovative ways to grow crops - even in an urban landscape.
Here are some pictures of the crops at the new The Incredible Edible Farm location. They are ready to harvest so sign up to help us get these nutritious veggies out to those who need them! Call 949-653-2900 for more info.
The The Incredible Edible Farm has moved across the Great Park to a new location! We are now located on Trabuco Way near the new Portola High School. There is still a detour in effect through October so use this map to find your way.
We know it's HOT out there! Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County thanks all our intrepid volunteers who work under the summer sun to help us feed OC's 335,000 hungry men, women and children. And thanks to South County Photo Club - Public for the great pictures! So many ways you can volunteer to help!! #EndHungerinOC
Thanks Judy Karsting for these photos from the The Incredible Edible Farm. And thanks for volunteering to help us harvest produce for the hungry. #FeedtheHungry #EndHungerinOC Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County
DETOUR! Marine Way is now closed at Sand Canyon. If you are coming to the Incredible Edible Farm or Second Harvest, you will need to follow different detour routes for each location. You can view and download the detour map showing both routes by clicking the link to our website below.

Feeding America is partnering with IKEA USA to raise funds for the 1 in 5 children who are going hungry in OC. Go to our local IKEA (in Costa Mesa) and order 1 of 3 healthy kids meals and IKEA USA will donate $1 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. http://bit.ly/1HRTel6
We wanted to share these photos from Optum Rx/UnitedHealth Group they took while at the Incredible Edible Farm! They helped harvest over 2500 pounds of fresh cabbage and broccoli to help #FeedOC!
We are celebrating the accomplishments of our first year in operation in the new location at the OC Great Park. Between Jan. 2014 and Jan. 2015, with the help of 4,000 volunteers, we planted 15 different crops and harvested 228,864 pounds of nutritious vegetables. That's the equivalent of 190,720 meals for the hungry in OC! Big thanks to all the dedicated volunteers who helped make it happen! #EndHungerinOC #FeedOC
New broccoli and cauliflower seedlings are in the ground!
