Gorgeous September day! The weather is warm and the lake is calm, even with a breeze. We’re getting ready for a busy, busy weekend and looking forward to everyone coming up to make happy, lifelong memories!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we write this. On Friday, we lost one of our cherished and long-time "Holloway's family" members, Shery August Doucette, and her young daughter, Gineva, when they perished in a plane crash. Shery touched each one of us with her gentle soul, kind heart, friendly way and willingness to always help whoever needed it and however she could. From her co-workers to our customers and neighbors, everyone is brokenhearted, and we have received... many calls of condolences from customers and co-workers whose lives were deeply touched by knowing Shery. She was an incredibly devoted mother to her four children and leaves behind her three sons, Cole, Rusty and Reed, all of whom Shery was so proud.
