Parkside Pantry

Hi all, I was unable to get ice this evening in preparation for tomorrow. I will have the coolers out in the afternoon. Sorry for the inconvience, and thank you for understanding!

04/30/2021 1:30PM Just finished cleaning and organizing! Parkside Pantry has been abundantly blessed this past week. Plenty of canned goods, powdered milk, instant mashed potatoes, potatoes, celery.... We have all 6 coolers completely filled with milks, shredded cabbage and carrots, strawberry yogurt drinks, taco meat, and some snack packs from school. Please remember to throw your trash away in a proper garbage can whether you are at the stand or at the park, or anywhere. Thank you everyone for being an awesome community

I've received many questions about how to help Parkside Pantry: -monetary donations are always welcomed as I get up to 5 bags of ice every 2 to 3 days, and am picking up USDA boxes every Wednesday and Friday. The cost of ice and gas is starting to take its toll on this stay-at-home mama. (Venmo is @Janelle-Gregorio) -Ice. ... -Shelf stable foods. -Fresh fruits and produce. At this time, we are no longer taking ice packs. We have quite a bunch of them but little to no freezer space to actually use them. Ice packs help in a pinch, but do not keep the coolers as cold as they need to be. Please do not drop off expired foods, opened packaged foods, or any non-food items. This helps immensely with reducing food waste and space in our garbage bins. We appreciate all the love and support we've received from the community and are happy to help as much as we can we're all in this together

Is your little one missing something? This was found between the wire shelves and fence. . .... We still have a handful of milks and some chicken and taco meat leftover from yesterday's haul. . . Potatoes, celery, and apples too! See more

Hi Neighbors, With the weather getting hotter, more and more ice is constantly needed to keep foods at a food safe temp. We use ice packs to help out, but we also do not have the freezer space to keep them all frozen. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep up with the coolers financially.... I will continue to have the coolers out throughout the month of May, with a majority of them being out Wednesday-Saturday. Thank you for understanding Also, if you mistakenly took our tea bag organizer, it would be greatly appreciated if you returned it

Friendly reminder that my family and I love to hang out in our driveway on gorgeous days, however sometimes things get left out. Please, please do NOT help yourself to items in our driveway that are past the line of coolers. Parkside Pantry is limited to food items and will either be on the shelves in front of the fence, or IN the coolers along the side of the fence. ... *Also, please remember to place items back on top of the styrofoam coolers as it is very windy today and the tops keep blowing into the street.

04/07/2021 11:05 AM Guess how many pizza kits and pinto beans we have. Jk, I don't know either. But come on by for an easy to make dinner tonight! ... There is also ingredients to make fajitas, just buy your choice of meat. Fresh bagels and cream cheese. Mandarins galore.

Tuesday at 8:52/9:36 AM update. Here is everything else that is out right now in addition to the canned goods. I will have fresh produce out in a few hours as well (or you can grab your own selection before that on Courage Dr, FF - see photo below for details).

Gold Hill Givings got a bunch more things right now. As of Sunday at 2:42 PM, this is what we have: large containers of milk, lots of hotdogs, potatoes, apples, one package meatballs, yogurt, three packages of chicken quarters, cheese, two containers of salsa, apple cinnamon Cheerios, grapefruit, oranges, etc. Address is 4832 South Ridgefield Way, FF. There is also a pile of free items on the other side of my driveway.

Saturday 2:10pm Update: Just cleaned up and organized the stand with lots of new, cold, fresh products! Eggs, milk, chicken patties, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, purple onions, baby food, Fuji apples, russet potatoes, plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, spaghetti supplies, rice, canned goods, etc. Come on down! Open for anyone. (No holds.) 4832 South Ridgefield Way, Fairfield. Take what you need, share what you can.

Gold Hill Givings had Togo’s bread loaves delivered today. Each loaf has been individually wrapped for freshness. We also have plenty of milk and cheese available.
