Fig Tree Gallery

We are optimistic that the gallery will be able to open soon given that vaccinations for Covid-19 are increasing locally and local infection rates are decreasing. In the meantime the gallery has decided to remain closed until the pandemic is under better control. This is our ongoing attempt to help protect the health of the community and to work on "flattening the curve" of the virus. It seems apparent that this is gradually occurring and that we we will be able to open our doors soon. We appreciate the patience of our visitors and clients and look forward to seeing you, again, when it is safe to re-open.

The group exhibition, 2020 Vision, which was scheduled for December, has been cancelled. This exhibition was intended to be a visual response to the events of the past year. We are disappointed that we will not be able to present this to the public at this time.

At the gallery this month, August 3 through August 30, 2020: See You See Me, by Linda Zupcic A special "drive-by-window-viewing installation" of works by the artist. The exhibit will be visible from the sidewalk and street in front of the gallery. Gallery doors will continue to remain closed while this exhibition is presented.

Though governmental guidelines pertaining to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) have been recently amended by the governor, Fig Tree Gallery members have decided to postpone opening at this time. This decision was made with regard to the recent increase in local cases of the virus. We believe it is in the best interest of public health to wait a while longer to reopen.
