CSUB will compete in the 2021 Pac-12 Championships, Sunday, Feb. 28, at Oregon State University's Gill Coliseum, with tournament titles and NCAA berths within their collective grasp. Tournament action begins Sunday, at 11:30 A.M., with first-round match-ups. Beard Signs Five to National Letters of Intent Bakersfield, Calif. CSU Bakersfield Head Baseball Coach Jeremy Beard has announced the signing of five prospective student athletes to National Letters of Intent. Pitchers Benjamin Caggianelli, Thomas Carter and Nick Perryman, catcher Brock Perreira and two-way threat Earl Johnson Jr., locked in their commitments on the opening day of the early signing period and will join the Roadrunner program in the fall of 2021. "I would li...ke to thank our assistant coaches, Ryan Cisterna and Quinn Hawksworth, for their assistance in rounding up this top tier recruiting class," said Beard. Hansen Signs Six for 2021 Bakersfield, Calif. Six student-athletes submitted National Letters of Intent and officially signed with the CSU Bakersfield Swimming and Diving program, on Wednesday, the opening day of the 2020 Fall Signing Period. Danielle Albright, Jessica Franco, Melinda Johnson and Leah Kirkland will join the Roadrunner women's program, while Kadin Denner and Timothy Engel are set to swim for the Bakersfield men, beginning next fall. "We're very excited about... this year's class," said CSUB Director of Swimming Chris Hansen. "On the women's side we filled some gaps in our backstroke and breaststroke events, while adding some strong freestylers.
