Provide care and needs for seniors with basic needs meal preparation, medication reminders, light laundering, housekeeping, light vacuum, and a daily session of a basic range of motion exercises including walking up and down a pathway.

So, God Created a Caregiver And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise, saw sickness, frailty, desperation and said, "I need a caretaker for my creation." So, God made a caregiver. God said, "I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, prepare for the day, feed their patient, change soiled diapers, clothes and linens, clean the house, standing by to serve their subject, and feed their patient again, all the while cracking a tranquil warm smile. Then they ...stay past midnight tending to their personal and family matters, paying bills, going over children’s homework." So God made a caregiver. "I need somebody with arms strong enough to lift and bathe a frail and failing body, yet gentle enough to clean, wrap wounds and tend to a bruise. Someone to be able to call a doctor and explain the day’s malady, call the pharmacy to see if the new medication is ready for pickup and able to squeeze her in for a last second appointment. So, God created a caregiver. God said, "I need somebody willing to sit up all night in the Emergency Room waiting for results. And being told the devastating news. Then dry her eyes and say, everything will be alright. I need somebody who can read a medical report, administer shots, one who can be a pharmacist, nutritionist, wife, mother and daughter. And who, finishes a forty-hour week by Wednesday night and harvest the remains of the day, every night." So, God made a caregiver. God had to have somebody willing to sacrifice through the ruts of life at double speed, to offer comfort during moments of pain, wiping away stains of age, and yet be comforting during her times of sorrows. So, God made a caregiver. God said, "I need somebody strong enough to be able to handle the demands of a needy elderly, reliant on someone else to help her get through, the struggles of typical day. Someone who can nurture even the dire of situations, brighten their outlook, nurture them the best they can and bring the light of joy in her eyes. It had to be somebody with an unflappable disposition able to sit, wait and wonder if her patient would live another day. Then jump back into action the minute she sees that she is needed again. Someone who can inform, recommend and console family, just in case the unthinkable happens. Somebody to keep the faith, press forward during the most stressful of times and keep her own family intact, with bonds of love. So, God made a caregiver.
