This week #BBFkiddo Lexi started another round of "head medicine" and her doctor has ramped up oral chemo and other shots in hopes that a combination of everything will stop and/or shrink the tumors. Options are quickly running out. It was also discovered that Lexi has developed hypothyroidism caused most likely by her radiation treatments. #BBFkiddo Lexi update. Two weeks ago Lexi completed her 2nd round of intrathecal chemo (chemo injected directly into her brain), and is continuing to do well. She loves to climb, go down slides, dance, and sing to her heart's content.
