To Our Valued Patients, We hope you and your family are safe and in good health. Everyone has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to getting back to our regular routines. We will be slowly resuming patient care in our dental office. You may have concerns about returning for treatment, and I want to assure you that the safety of our patients and dental team is our top priority. In order to maintain a safe environment, we will be taki...ng new measures established by the CDC, ADA, CDA, OSHA, and CDPH. In order to treat you we will have to adhere to these new guidelines. --PRE-APPOINTMENT WELLNESS SURVEY: Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you arrive for your appointment. This ADA health screening form MUST be completed 24 hours before your appointment or it will have to be rescheduled. --OFFICE ENTRY: Please wear a mask as you enter the office building. Upon entry, you will be given hand sanitizer to use and your temperature will be taken. If your temperature is over 100.4 F, we will need to reschedule your appointment. With the exception of appointments for minors who need to be accompanied by a parent and those who need assistance, we ask that each patient come alone. If there are other people in your party, please have them remain in the car to allow for social distancing. Our waiting room will be unavailable. --TREATMENT ROOMS: All adult patients will be given a disinfecting mouth rinse prior to beginning any procedures. Air purifiers will be in each operatory to assist in the reduction of aerosols and the removal of contaminants in the air we breathe. With the increased amount of PPE our team is incorporating, the temperature in the office will be cooler than normal. In the past, we had been able to provide blankets and headphones as a courtesy, but as we are no longer able to do so, we ask that you please bring your own or bring a sweater or jacket. Patients who are appointed for a procedure that creates an aerosol may be asked to use a special suction device that we will provide. Business operations such as scheduling appointments, processing payments, etc. will be done as much as possible in the treatment room to limit time spent at the front desk. Our office has been closed for over two months, and opening up after this extended period of time with all of the new requirements will have its challenges. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s dental needs, but you might have fewer options for scheduling an appointment. Our team is looking forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you safe in our practice.
