The Art History Society of Cal State LA is proud to present the Spring Symposium Series: Art in Our Lives, with our second lecture scheduled for Thursday, February 25th from 6 PM - 7 PM. Our acclaimed guest is Professor John M. D. Pohl, a renowned Mesoamerican Archeologist and Anthropology Professor at CSULA specializing in Physical Anthropology, Materials Studies, Civilizations of Western Mesoamerica, and Museum Studies. On this upcoming series lecture we will be highlighting Dr. Pohl's research on Mixtec codices, his experiences as an Archaeologist in the arts and his interdisciplinary approach in exploring the art of Mesoamerica.
